1 World Record and 3 more Championship Records fall on thrilling final day of Singapore 2025

The World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 concluded in thrilling fashion with a World Record and three Championship Records set on Sunday (3 Aug).

The USA women’s 4x100m medley team provided a fitting finale to the swimming competition, clinching the gold medal in style with a World Record swim of 3min 49.34sec. They rewrote their record of 3:49.63 set at the Paris Olympics to finish ahead of AUS (3:52.67) and CHN (3:54.77).

Three more Championship Records were broken by NAB (men’s 4x100m medley relay), Summer McINTOSH (CAN, women’s 400m individual medley) and Kliment KOLESNIKOV (NAB, men’s 50m backstroke).

McINTOSH and French star Leon MARCHAND were named Best Female and Best Male swimmers respectively, while USA took home the Team title.
